  1. Yea I'm not afraid of using work around and what not, I have already found several things that I learnt or solved how to do, that was different from what I'm used to in photoshop. I also understand that the developers focus might not be in "nearest neighbour" quality and very "low res" development. Especially if this "issue" has been around and noted since 2021. This is true, one can adapt, but in this specific case I just can't do that, I'm using an older version of Photoshop bought to me by my workplace like 14 years ago or whatever (cs5) and that was what I was thinking this program should replace, but now I will just stick to the old photoshop until I see things like these have been adressed. PS. I still consider buying the designer and publisher program, that's a different story so. Also, I read your other threads there, equaliy annoying issues, how do I vote on those?
  2. I see, good to know they know about it. For me right now I can't really use the program anymore since I can't really trust it. See I go from high res images around 2k down to as low as 16-32px, if I paste a lower res image I will of course see the blurriness and move the layer to snap it into pixels (like that's not really annoying to do) but if I paste something like 1000px I might not see this (unless I keep looking at the transform panel all the time) and I might end up with something with worse quality.
  3. Yea, that did solve it, or well, when I "move" the layer a bit. However, the paste issue isn't solved by this, the paste can still be placed at a fraction =/
  4. Sure, here goes. I have never experienced something like this, this is very bad for me. I didn't even know this could happen.
  5. No, I didn't move it, I just pasted these two ones. The DPI could of be the problem, but it should not be random like this, that's very bad same with the integer thing you mentioned. I can't really use the program with this issue, because I work very low res, sometimes down at pixel art levels. Can someone test this themselves and see, so it's not just here?
  6. I have two documents open in Photo, one that I copy from a source texture, then I have a workfile where I will manipulate things. I get this really strange, either a setting somewhere, or a bug, but when I copy a selection from the reference into the workfile, the selection sometimes becomes blury and get these fussy edges, transparent like linear rendering, but the marquee tool isn't using anti aliasing and when I paste it I don't move the new layer around. This is completely random and it can be the same copy information, just copied to a different place in the canvas. I figure it might be something with the pasting? This image here, these two pastes here are done exactly the same, just a different area selected and so.
  7. Yes, of course Garry, that's true, I should have done that. I can probably live with the ctrl x then paste, I should not expect the program to be exactly similar to photoshop as long as I get the same results.
  8. This is one of my most used feature of Photoshop, but I can't find a way to do that here. I know CTRL+J works like in PS, but I can't find the other function. I really don't want to copy paste into a new layer and then go back to delete from the old one. Especially since I do this so often. I on the fence using this software, I have started to use it only now and while this feels like the best replacement for photoshop, my old CS5.1 still seems a lot faster for me, at least for now. I was actually almost buying this software, but figured I really need to test this for at least a month full time haha.
