  1. Looks like its not a bug but user error. by editing a selected group layer rather than the pixel layer below it will cause the group layer to flatten, merge into a pixel layer. Lesson learned, when editing layers make sure the correct layer is selected, and make double sure it is not the group layer selected. I've tried to recreate the issue many other ways without success, this is most likely the source of my issue. Thank you for the quick response. Harley

In Affinity photo 2 I create a group that contains a pixel layer, when i exit the photo to the main interface then go back to reedit the photo the layer group has become a pixel layer, the group is gone. it happens randomly and not to every photo. Not sure if it is something i am doing or not doing but would appreciate any help. Thanks in advance Harley ipad pro m2 latest os updates latest app updates
