Hi, when it comes to doing surface patterns, Affinity works beautifully when you create symbols of the original art work. it would be nice to be able to do a screenshot of the whole pattern for the purpose of a portfolio. But the grey border for the artboard shows through on it which ruins it. But we need to keep the artboard at a size to be clipped and to export so the pattern can work for mockups. Can a feature be build into settings so you can remove the artboard outline? Or does it exist already?
