Thank you for your advice.I ran Disk Utility and it said that the volume was ok. I can open the photos if I copy to desk top and open from there.

I have recently acquired Infinity Photo for macs. I am struggling to open j peg photos. I open media browser and there are no thumb nail pictures. When I click on a blank thumbnail I am told that Affinity cannot open the file because permission is denied.Looking at the info of the original photo I have reading and writing permission.

Hello, I have just started with Affinity. I cannot import images into the photo persona from my Apple photo library which is iPhoto or Photos. The photo library is greyed out and I cannot drag them into Affinity from photos.The image format is jpeg.
