I know but i have honestly never seen these presets ever in my life. I’ve been working on the Mac version all these years but since i’m away from my Mac, i work on iPad, and personally, things have just been difficult to understand on iPad. Specially the Font part and I’ve had to constantly take help from the Forum. My only advice to the iPad team, is keep it simple and don’t mix things around. No one needs to do PhD on typography (apart from understanding the basics) just to work on Designer iPad.

Can someone explain what are these 500 different Lead options - Default, Multiply etc etc.. and why does it change to Multiply when it’s change to Default when we adjust the numbers. WHY? WHY? WHY??????

Thanks but i did increase and decrease to check what was wrong but normally it used to correct the Font Size when you use the Resizing Handle, that was what was not happening. Also weird that it was originally 16/18 in the file i was working but when i copied in the new document - it’s 33/43. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Thanks for the help, Walt. 🙏🏻

I copied it in the new file so the sizes have now become 41 and 33 now.. But the issue is still there. FONT SIZE.afdesign

Can someone please tell me why am I getting the bizarre Font Size Display? The smaller Text has bigger number than the Text that is visibly bigger. Both are Para Text.

Thank you for the reply, I figured out the Load and Infer part, but what am I suppose to be looking for because under the A Designer folder, there’s only one Folder called - Logs.

The site was down for me most of the time. Plus previously when you google a problem, Google used to fetch a page from the help site but when you click on it, It never used to open the link, instead just show a blank page with the ‘Search’ panel on the left.

When we choose LUT from the Adjustment Panel, It just opens another small LUT panel in both Designer and Photo. How does one select the LUTs you’ve installed from this little Panel? The only way is to choose LUT on top in Photo and it lists the LUTs you’ve installed.

How do we get rid of those pesky extra white outlines at the edges when we export? I assign a colour to the bg of the artboard. One way it sometimes work is when you create a new art board and copy elements into the new art board.

Is there a way to show the outline of the brushes (like what we get when increasing/decreasing brush size) while applying because i’m just blindly erasing right now. Half the time I have to redo it because I would have erased more than i would have wanted. If you’re like me looking at sea of information but no answer where the “Lock Children” option is hidden in Affinity Designer on iPad, I have finally found it. Please see the Attachment. After you’re done with masking the object, choose Move Tool and on top you will find it under the Pointer icon. Thank me later! 🙏🏻

Oh! Thanks a lot. No wonder the things weren’t moving for me because on iPad everything is mixed up. But where is Kerning on iPad then? I’ve just been using the Letter Spacing all this time. 😭

Hello, it’s Oct 2023, and sadly it’s still not implemented. 😭

What i meant was - if you fiddle around with Text with Letter Spacing on iPad save the file and open the same file on Mac version of Designer then, kerning the same text will not affect the selected text. I’m attaching a Designer File for you to play around with which i save on iPad version. Yes, this started working for me in a different new file. KERNING TEST.afdesign
