  1. @Callum Affinity newest release, 2.2.0, seems to have resolved the issue (at least for me).
  2. Hello, this is a fresh install, I made a file that works (for me) 100% of the time: replicate.afdesign Here is a video of it again. replicate.mp4 I had this bug on other computers but just in case here are my specs: - CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 8-Core Processor - RAM: 16GB - GPU: RTX 4070 Thanks a lot.
  3. Affinity crashes when selecting multiple objects, one being a text frame. Steps to reproduce (works reliably) : Select a text frame "entirely" (not editing it) Click near it, changing the tool for the text frame tool. (Why does Designer have a range this big to select text ??) Click again (doing a double click essentially). The program will freeze (as I have seen, it can recover on small files if changing the focus window to anything else). It must be closed using task manager, simply closing the app brings the close menu, but it cannot be interacted, all unsaved progress will be lost. bug.mp4 This is not an edge case bug, I produce it regularly when selecting multiple text by not clicking precisely inside the text frame. I am using the latest Affinity Designer 2 version (2.1.1.1847) on Windows 11. Works both with hardware acceleration on and off.
  4. I currently use Affinity Designer to make scientific diagrams that I export to svg. These SVG are converted by Inkscape to '.pdf_tex' format to be printed on Latex documents. To do so Inkscape converts text content and metadata to Latex. One issue is, Affinity Designer SVG exported does not export the text alignement in the SVG 'text-align' property, resulting in misalignment of text. This appends when using Latex commands ('\textbf{}' for instance), which are then translated by Latex in the final pdf. Text in Affinity Designer Text in the PDF after being compiled by Latex I saw some topics in the Affinity V1 forums talking about this missing feature, is support on the way ? Some love to the scientific community would be greatly appreciated.. Thanks.
