  1. Thank you David very much, I feel that I'm on the lowest slope of the learning curve and feel so stupid that I had not found the Adjustment panel. All my stored filters appear to be there. Sometimes my panels just wanishes and it's always a pain to find them back. Yes, I have go back to basics.
  2. Thank you David, I haven't yet been trying this, but I will. Yesterday I have worked with the color correction by using LensFilter Layer. It works quite well, but I can't re-use the saved Preset, the value always returns to the default orange. To me this kind of error and trial gives the feeling that the Affinity needs an improvement on adding more intuitivity to user interface. I have a couple suggestions in my sleeve to improve the usability. Is there a place for suggestions?
  3. I'm not using the AP on daily basis, thus using a lot of time to find out how to proceed. AP is very versatile on vast selection of all kind of useful features. All are described only for WHAT but not for HOW. That's why I'm now asking help to probably a very simple task, but HOW: Example tasks 1) Old slide scans with strong change in colour balance which can not be corrected by white balance adjustment, but using histogram level adjustment the correction can be done in most cases perfect. 2) A bunch of photos shooting through coloured window (thermal filtering e.g. in skyscrapers), process is about the same as in case above. How to save the level settings and how to automate the adjustment to the rest of the same batch?
  4. Thanks NathanC for this information, I really don't know why I installed the sandboxed version. Are there any benefits to use the sandboxed version?
  5. This is an annoying drawback in AP2: I use separate photo image browser (FastStone) and when needed, I simly open it for editing by previously set external programs. With AP1 was no problems - AP2 working link was lost and when using lot of time, the link was found from an unexpected place. This way to use links is wery stupid, first when I foud the way to access AP2 it is not opening the AP2 but you have start the AP2 first - second when installing new version AP2 is lost again. Please concentrate at Serif to create a more intuitive user interface, take a look to FastStone image browser - it has simple but effective editing features as well and the user inteface is excelent.
