Thank you very much, I played around with it and I think I can figure out a workflow. It's much more involved with Layers, which I never had to deal with very much for my old stuff, but I think it's worth it for the increased speed and versatility to learn.

Thank you for your help, this is good to know coming from Inkscape. Is there no way to copy / transfer layer effects? Just to make sure i understand things correctly.

I am attempting to copy the Bitmap Fill from one object to another. The problem is that when I paste the Bitmap Fill, not only does it not transfer the Recolor Layer Adjustment that I did to the first object, but it also rescales the Bitmap Fill based on the size of the object I am pasting it into. As you can see, when pasting the texture from the right object onto the left object, it loses its recolor and becomes skewed. Is there any way I can ensure that this doesn't happen?
