  1. Thank you @James Ritson I know all your macro, great work ! You suggest to export i 32bit tiff. That's exactly what i trying to do. But it seems like any setting, will open in pixinsight, as non linear ( as displayed in AP) It should be as dark, as if left Pixinsight. In AP, when exporting i can't get the preview dark. ? Another way to approach it. : Pixinsight export a linear fit. AP import the fit > export as 32bit tif Pixinsight open the tif. This is giving me at total diff. picture. Lighter not pitch black. Hope you are able to understand my bad English
  2. Hi all and @James Ritson It seems like I can import a linear fit into AP. I want to work with it in a linear state. How can I export it, still in linear state, for further work and before GHS in Pixinsight. Thank You.
  3. No, that's a normal stretch in diff software. Right now I use a work around. Open the background fit file. Ajust stretch by level and curves. Insert a Narrowband Live procedural texture on the background. Ajust the procedural narrowband mix. Delete Level and curves Insert a Normalised Tone Stretch. Its not a real screen stretch, nor stretch enough. But it chould do the job.
  4. Thank's Richard When a raw picture is at the linear state it is dark. I need to ajust some narrow band color, before a dedicated tone strech. But i can hardly see it on the screen. Often you use, what is called a screen strech. The picture brighten up, but the file data is preserved. My screen dump show the dark linaer picture I have to ajust before stretch. I tried to make some change inside the "32 bit Preview", but it's not a good solution. Most astro editing software I know can do this. Pixinsight, Astroart, Maxim, Siril ....
  5. While working with linear astrophoto it's common to apply a screen stretch. How can this be done in Affinity photo. Thank you, Morten Lerager
  6. Hi, just downloaded the trail. Iam used to Astroart 8 and Gimp. Now I want to Stack in Astroart and from here use the new macro in AP. But how do I load an already stacked fits file. I'am use OSC both broad and narrow band. Thank you.
