  1. Hey, unfortunately, Affinity Publisher is very buggy. Very sad about it. I started my first Project in that tool in the hope i don't need InDesign anymore, but Publisher is not very stable and have a lot of small and big bugs. Here is one big problem. If i try to export the Book (contains 160 pages) than all the texts are broken. But i can't figure out why. It's a text where i used a Mask to integrate it to the picture. First, i just kept the font like it is with the mask. But in the PDF it was broken. Then i converted the font in to curves. But still the same. The main problem is that if i do multiple exports, the problem is always on a different page. So it seems like a rendering problem and not a specif problem with the curves or font. This is very anoying and with this behavior i cant use publish for any kind of work. Here is a picture of the problem. And also, even the font is a curve. I get these tiny fragments which should not be visible. Best
  2. When placing images, the behavior is stange. Sometimes the images will always place in the same picture frame even if i click a picture frame on other sites. Then i need to go out of the image place tool and then the whole process of placing images is useless. This is terrible and makes it way more complicated. Also while placing images publisher crashed two times. And i just had round about 20 pictures to place. I use the latest version of publisher 2.0.0 on Mac 12.5.1
  3. Yes the "image place" tool is it exactly but why i cant have this one as an own view and i see it permanent? So i actually cant make some changes of other elements and than go back to the image place tool. Would be so helpful to have that.
  4. Hello all, I have just switched to Affinity Publisher and I am looking for a function. Either I'm overlooking it or it's massively missing. I am in the process of creating a photo book and have a few hundred photos for it. Is there no way to load your photos into Publisher and use them from there? I am looking for a kind of "library" where I can see which photos are available to me and which photos I have already included in my project on a page. Such a function would be so important. Otherwise I would always have to open the Finder, see if a picture fits and then try it out first, but then mark the picture again. I also find it strange that when I drag a bunch of photos into the project to see which one I want to use in the layout, the photos hang on one side. For example, if I have added 4 photos by dragging and dropping and have decided on one photo and the other three are next to the picture, but I now want to delete only the one page at some point, I also delete the 3 photos that are only next to the layout (grey area). This is somehow complicated. I hope I could explain well what I am looking for :)
