  1. Thanks! (I tried to look for a report of this before filing mine, but my forum search skills are apparently not sufficient to the task…) Looking forwards to a resolution.
  2. I am using Affinity Publisher 2 on a 13" M1 2020 MacBook Pro running macOS Ventura 13.0.1. When I launch Publisher by double-clicking on a Publisher document file in the Finder, sometimes Publisher opens with the wrong file focused. Since I am working on several similar-looking documents, a few times I ended up editing the wrong document, until I figured out that this happens. Steps to reproduce: Use Publisher two documents, A.afpub and B.afpub. (For the screenshots, I have placed visual content in the documents. This is not necessary to reproduce the bug.) In Publisher, insure that the only open document is A.afpub. The window at this point should look like the first screenshot. Close Publisher. In the Finder, double-click on file B.afpub. Actual: Publisher launches; document A is focused (second screenshot). Expected: Publisher launches, with document B focused (third screenshot).
  3. I am using Affinity Publisher 2 on a 13" M1 2020 MacBook Pro running macOS Ventura 13.0.1. Steps to reproduce: Create a new document Add a text frame to the page With the text cursor in the text, select menu item Text > Insert > Field > More…. This should reveal the Fields panel, as shown in the first screenshot. Click twice in any of the fields. For instance, Author, Tags, or Title. Expected: In the case where a word was double-clicked, the word is selected. In the case where the text field is empty, the insertion carat is placed within the text field. Actual: Affinity Publisher crashes. The macOS Problem Report dialog is displayed, as shown in the second screenshot. This is 100% reproducible on my machine. It happens with more fully populated documents, not just new ones. It appears to be triggered by the second click within any of the Fields text areas; it does not require a double-click gesture to produce the problem. I have attached the stack trace from the Problem Report. affinity-publisher-crash-report.txt
