  1. Summarizing this bizarre behavior in words is a bit difficult, so here are just the steps to reproduce: Open a image in Photo Persona. Open another image in Develop Persona. Switch between the two images back and forth repeatedly, either by clicking the tabs or using CTRL+Tab. Current behavior: the first image keeps moving to the left and zooming out. The second image keeps moving to the right until eventually stopping. Expected behavior: both images should retain their zoom level and position. My motivation behind the bug report: I'm toggling back and forth between an already developed image and a new one in order to compare their color and composition. By the way, this behavior doesn't happen when both images are open in Photo Persona, or both in Develop Persona. You need to open each one in a different persona. Interesting, no? Stats: Operating system: Windows 11 Home, version 23H2, build 22631.2506. Affinity Photo 2.2.1.
  2. The scale percentage edit box for images in Affinity Designer is broken: Place an image. In the top toolbar, click the pull-down of the image dimensions ("100x100 pixels @ 72dpi (100%)") to reveal the scaling panel. Click one of the scale percentage edit boxes and type 50%. Expected behavior: the scale changes to 50%. Actual behavior: the scale changes to 25%. All other values types there show this is a very interesting version of the Wrongulator, which is actually really fascinating. I'd love to know what the cause of the bug is. Product: Affinity Designer. Version: 2.2.0 OS: Windows 11 Home, version 22H2, build 22621.2428.
  3. This issue persists in v2.1.1. Is a fix scheduled for a specific version?
  4. Steps to reproduce: Open an image in Develop Persona. Make a change to its appearance. Add a preset. Make another change. Try to add a preset under the same name as in step #3. The "OK" button is grayed out. Result: unable to update a preset. Must add a new preset with a different name, and delete the old one. Expected behavior: either an "Update Preset" menu item, or the ability to overwrite an existing preset with the same name. OS: Windows 11 Home, version 11.0.22000. Hardware acceleration: on. Affinity Photo version: 2.0.0
  5. Steps to reproduce: Open a portrait RAW photo in Develop Persona. User-created images or already developed images do not show this problem. Enable the Post Crop Vignette effect. Set intensity to -100% and the hardness to +100% to see the center of the effect. Result: the vignette's center is offset to the bottom-right of the image. See example below. Expected result: the vignette's center should be at the center of the image. OS: Windows 11 Home, version 11.0.22000.Hardware acceleration: on.Affinity Photo version: 2.0.0
  6. GIMP currently has 3,661 open bugs and issues. Blender has 4,172 open tasks. If you can't see them with your daily workflow it doesn't mean the application is "rock solid" for everyone. You're just lucky. But you do. I don't know if you've worked in a software development environment, or seen how it's done. QA testers are human, they will never be able to create a test suite that checks everything in the software, or be able to predict all the users' actions. They have to manage deadlines, worker shortage and sickness, budget constraints and everything that comes with working in a commercial company. Every Big Business™ software more complicated than "Hello, World!" will have bugs. That's an unfortunate fact of software development, which is often compared to making sausages: it's disgusting and messy. And before anyone attacks me with the usual "don't make excuses for Serif", I've nothing to defend here - I think Affinity Photo v2 is poorly made, and the decision-makers should have focused on making it "rock solid" instead. I'm collecting a lot of bugs from the day I purchased v2 and will submit them. Hopefully it will be improved.
  7. Steps to reproduce: Open an image in Develop Persona. Make an obvious adjustment to a slider, e.g. Exposure. Click on "Split View". Click on "Sync Before". Result: the "Before" section of the image shows the original, unedited photo. Expected behavior: the "Before" section should show the current appearance of the edited image. OS: Windows 11 Home, version 11.0.22000. Hardware acceleration: on. Affinity Photo version: 2.0.0
  8. Hello everyone, Maybe I'm missing something, but it appears the "Sync Before" feature in V2 is broken: when clicking it and then "Split View", the "Before" panel shows the original image, without any corrections. Can anyone confirm? Also, I'm collecting (many 😒) bugs and UI/UX problems in this version. Where can I report them? Thanks for helping.
