Batch convert RAW to jpg not working

Hello and thank you! I am using the iPad Pro 11" MY232ZP/A. Am I out of luck or is a thousand photos simply too much for something this portable? -
Hi all, As per the title, I am having trouble converting about a thousand photos to jpeg using the batch job function. It seems to always crash when 60+ images have been converted when I have all 1000 images selected as a batch job. However, I seem to be able to convert in smaller batches of say 150. Why is this the case and is there something I can do to get affinity to accept all 1000 images as a batch job? Some additional info: the source images are from a portable HDD, and I’m trying to export the jpgs to that same drive as well.
