  1. I'm currently trying to make a vector design in Designer laser cut friendly (Trotec Ruby). The laser software doesn't like dotted lines i've created in the Stroke tool. Is there a way to convert the dots on the dotted lines into individual shapes (which hopefully the laser software can see) Has anyone had any experience with using Designer for laser designs? Thanks
  2. I'm very surprised and disappointed at the tone and mood that this thread has gotten - I have provided some feedback/feature suggestion (which is the intent of this Forum) on the off chance that it'll find it's way onto the roadmap (or support something that is already on it.) - and the only person to provide a response that isn't childish or forgets that I'm just an end user providing feedback is @PaoloT (cheers buddy - sadly Screensharing isn't ideal) The Affinity products are really good - but missing some features (same goes to the over priced, over bloated, frequently crashing 'market leader'). But this Forum seems to be a waste of time.
  3. As I am starting to use Publisher for more projects and finding a pain point – Collaboration. Currently it’s not possible to share a Publisher document with a client who doesn’t have the Affinity Suite. I currently have to export as PDF, upload to a third party service that allows sharing and commenting, and then work through the PDF comments to update the document. It would be amazing if I was able to upload a document to an Affinity Cloud service, where clients can comment on the read-only document which is synced with my Publisher Desktop for me to action. Failing that, the ability to download an Affinity Viewer so clients can view the document for comment without needed an Affinity license. Thanks
  4. It's better being on a list somewhere (a page aware, dynamic list with conditional formatting to flag priorities ) than not being on a list at all. Thanks for your help Martyn
  5. Thanks for the quick response @Dan C Shame to hear these features are not in Publisher yet - but good to hear that they are on your radar. Page aware/content aware data merge would be amazing - fingers crossed Affinity HQ says yes Basic conditional formatting would be very powerful (some use cases - preparing a Company Accounts document, having the tables react dynamically based on the balance - a catalogue that used different font sizes based on the products size or formatting text to flag if a product has low stock or a minimum order limit) - Would it be possible to have it added to the Improvement list too? Thanks again Martyn
  6. Hi I’m wanting to build Year Book type document using Data Merge (I currently have all the data in an Excel spreadsheet). Is it possible to have: Conditional Formatting/Table Styles based on table contents Each member of the Year Book is in a one of 5 Teams – I would like a cell fill to change colour based on which team the person is in. Dynamic Data Merge Frame Because of some member’s description are one line, some are a paragraph+ - in some cases 6-7 tables can fit on a page, in other cases only 1 or 2. Is it possible to have Date Merge Frame dynamic so the maximum number of tables that can fit on a page is generated per page, rather than fixed number (based on the rows specified in the Data Merge frame) causing table rows to squish. Hope this makes sense (and is possible) Thanks
