Affinity Photo has always crashed for me when I use mesh warp tool, no matter what I try. But now it has started crashing randomly on other occasions as well. There is no common cause. Sometimes I move a selection on screen, sometimes I zoom, sometimes I do something else and it just exits. Then I get .NET runtime error on my Windows event log. All my Windows updates, including those .NET runtimes, are up to date. Hard to do things with it now as it keeps crashing constantly. Wasn't always like that (except for mesh warp tool). This constant crashing started about 2 weeks ago. Some info: 1. Are you using the latest release version? - Yes - 1.10.5.1342 2. Can you reproduce it? - It happens very often when I use mesh warp tool. But now also randomly. 3. Does it happen for a new document? - Happens with photos I open from my hdd, and with those I copy from clipboard. 4. If you cannot provide a sample document then please give an accurate description of the problem for example it should include most of the following: What is your operating system and version? - Windows 11 22H2. Also happened with Windows 10 version 21H2 (OS Build 19044.1826) that I used earlier. Is hardware acceleration (in Preferences > Performance) ON or OFF ? - Tried with ON and OFF. Same results. What happened for you (and what you expected to happen) - When I use mesh tool Affinity Photo freezes, and no longer responds. I have to open task manager and manually kill the process. Now also started crashing randomly. .NET runtime error on system log. Provide a recipe for creating the problem (step-by-step what you did). - I pretty much do anything and it crashes randomly. Today 7 times in 5 hours. Any unusual hardware (like tablets or external monitors or drives that may affect things) or relevant other applications like font managers or display managers. - Not that I can think of. My setup: ASUS B550 Prime Plus Corsair 2 x 8 gb RAM - CMK16GX4M2B3000C15 AMD Ryzen 5600G WD Blue SSD + Seagate 4tb hdd NVidia Quadro M2000 - 4gb graphics card (latest driver) Corsair rm650x PSU Roccat 7.1 Elo Air wireless headset Logitech G305 wireless mouse + K470 wireless keyboard Windows 11 Pro (all latest updates installed) Constantly running on background: F-Secure Total Did this same thing used to work and if so have you changed anything recently? (software or hardware) - I can't remember using mesh tool with earlier versions, so can't say for sure. Earlier versions didn't crash all the time otherwise.
