  1. My Document menu has no font manager menu item. Has it moved from its v1 location and I just can't find it, has it been removed (Heaven forfend!), or something on my installation only? Mac iMac 14,2 running Catalina.
  2. I would be happy to if I ever got far enough to see a menu. The only thing I ever opened in Pub2 was my working file to typeset my new paperback (created in 1.9 and works fine there). I could send you a copy of that file, if that would help. Could it have anything to do with fonts? I seem to recall briefly seeing a missing fonts notice when I first opened the file it in Pub2. My fonts are all local to the iMac I launched from and fully licensed (almost all of them are Adobe fonts). I do use a font called Pagan Symbols for separator dingbats. Does holding control as you launch and clearing everything not clear the recent documents? Perhaps it should?
  3. I spoke prematurely. But now I know what it takes to reproduce the problem, and the issue affects Designer and Photo as well. Opening an existing v1 file and poking around without saving changes before you quit is all it takes. Whatever I do from then on (completely deleting and reinstalling, control-launch) they all crash on launch. The one exception to this was the one launch when I replaced the website downloads with the app store downloads. Publisher launched fine until I opened a v1 file and didn't save. I would test 'save as' to see if that helps if I could get any of the three apps to work now. =/
  4. Thanks, Lee! It was the website download, but the app store download let me right in. I never would have thought to try that...
  5. iMac 14,2 Catalina 10.15.7, quad-core Intel 7, 8G Ram. Publisher 1 runs flawlessly. But every time I launch the trial, the instant I click the "continue trial" button, it crashes. I've held down Ctrl at launch and cleared everything, same results. I'd like to update to a Universal License, but Publisher is a lynchpin of my fiction publishing venture. crash_log_pub_2.txt
