I use AP in addition to Phase One. It was my chance to get rid of Adobe after 20 years frustration with that company. I really love the combination and the new possibilities. And I am really missing nothing from LR and PS. Quite the contrary AP and PO offer me new possibilities, that i really like! You must be proud of this really gorgeous product! But that is not my question ;-) My question is: tif is easy manageable by Capture One or Lightroom. The new AP version is able to keep layers and modifications in tif. So is there any reason to save a file addional to tif as afphoto? What are the differences between these formats? Thanks for you answer.

I am searching für a replacement of a Photoshop Workflow: For non destruktive dotch and burn, i created a new layer with 50 % grey, just bei activating a checkbox when creating the new layer. Setting to light mode or so - i do not know the correct name in EN. Than using soft black or white brushes with low opacity worked very well? Is there a similar possibility in AP?
