I would like to have the option to set a relative path (starting from the image-location) where the batch processing saves the images to. Suggestion: Instead specifying an absolute path each and every time it would me much easier to automatically have either one sub-folder for all images created or one sub-folder for each exported file type-

It would be great if the batch processing dialogue would remember the previously used settings instead of using the factory defaults all the time. I would like to set the exports as JPEG and using one of the macros as default.

My main tool for ingesting, selecting and pre-cropping is (and will ever be) PhotoMechanic. One can do easy pre-crops and rotations and with a single "E"-press it will open the pre-selection in a predefined App. Affinity Photo somehow "ignores" the pre-applied selection (and rotation) of PhotoMechanic. (Ad*be, GIMP and others can apply them)

When straitening an image the crop remains the same, leaving empty spaces. (see attachment) Suggestion: Apply a new crop automatically to the maximum size without transparent areas.
