HopefullyQuittingAdobe

I'm seeing issues with opening RAW files from the Panasonic G2 and Canon 5DII cameras. Both are in 16 bit Adobe RGB, and opened in Pro Photo color space. When I look at the files in either Bridge (PS6) or Apple Preview, I get a good representation of the image as taken (and consistent with each other). When I open them in Affinity Photo, they look "off". With the Assistant turned off, they are seriously off, as in severely washed out. Is there something I'm missing in terms of opening raw files?
