  1. Okay thanks for the update, based on your answers I will suppose affinity photo and will likely remain the better option. I currently own the software on both Mac and PC. Although that doesn't show when I log into my account. I think it is because I purchased the Mac version from the apply app store, but that's a different issue. As of right now, neither app is really where I would want it for digital painting. But from your answer it looks like the photo app is likely where most the features will come.
  2. So photoshop is the go to app for digital painting and concept artists. But you really just need a good brush tool and color tools. It seems like either designer or photo would be cabable. Most tutorials i have seen for natural style brushes are disegner tutorials, most morum posts about the process of painting/concept art seem to suggest doing it in photo. I think neither are really there yet, the brush tool in booth apps can use improvement. My question though is how does serif feel. Will designer get the majority of improvments for this type of work, or will photo get most the improvments. Will the brush and color tools in booth apps be on par with one another so it becomes a matter of prefrence. I am sure this is sort of a loaded question. Just looking at dropping adobe. Since the software seem pretty bloated and it is just more expensive.
  3. I am really enjoying using the affinity products. I was just wondering if there may be a chance that we will get to see the affinity line of prodcuts make it to the Windows platform. I know you have windows products but it would be great to see affinity ported so they user experience is the same, as well as being able to utilize the same files. Anyway, i am keeping the fingers crossed.
  4. I am enjoying you software very much and it is a refreshing alternative to the programs suite from Adobe. I was wondering though. are there plan on creating a media cataloging program similar to lightroom, doesn't need to be that powerful really as we can really on the darkroom feature on affinity photo. So really could just be a cataloging software. Anyway, i was just wondering as I am looking at a couple alternatives myself. Mainly capture one as it is pretty affordable for Sony owners. I do like that capture one is also cross platform. Anyway, just wondering. Thanks
