Affinity Designer vulnerability to the log4j exploit

On December 17, 2021, the Apache Software Foundation announced a critical remote code execution vulnerability (CVE-2021-44228 ) in Apache Log4J, a popular open source framework for logging in the Java programming language. My IT team has asked me to reach out to the vendor (Serif) to determine if Affinity Designer (version 1.8.5.703) is impacted by this vulnerability. Please let me know ask if the Affinity Designer application is vulnerable to the log4j exploit. Thanks,
