i just made it. expand stroke, merge curves and then subtract. I did not know the merge curves which is accessible by right click, was trying to combine the layers by drag and drop in the panel, how i saw it in a video. Thanks a lot.

Thank you for answering. Sorry i do not get it what you mean by merge curves, if i group then i can not subtract. I use Affinity in German language that makes it a little difficult to undestand.

Hello, can anyone help me, i am trying to subtract the elypse from a bunch of dashes. If i click on subtract i see a blue bar for a long time, but nothing else happens. Appreciate your help
