  1. @fde101 thanks so much for the study material!! Time for a deep dive 😄 Have a wonderful weekend!
  2. Good day! This is awesome! thank you so much! I have a question, maybe you know this as well... In my example the white slightly overlaps. When I do what you suggest here... I get a merged mask with only the area where both white figures overlapped... but I would like the white of both layers to be added to one and other. Is that possible, or am I doing something wrong? Hope you can help Best!
  3. I was so happy to read your work around! I have had the same problem, not able to merge mask layers... so having to make many of the same adjustments for multiple layers. I tried the white pixel layer mask (Which takes some getting used to), but I found that left a kind of halo around the image. Copying the same white pixel layer and using it as a double mask, reduced that halo a bit, but not quite. Did you notice the same? I desperately hope you found a solution for it or know what I am doing wrong ^^ Best!
  4. You're right! 😯 I had no idea! I fiddle around with all my pens and I didn't even know that I could tap my pen for anything! Thank you so much!! Wish you a wonderful day 😊grateful regards, Frederiek
  5. @stokergGood day, yesterday I tried uploading a little video of the crucial moment (and the settings before it happens). The video did not upload correctly (.MOV file) so I'll try again in a different format(MP4) IMG_0422.mp4 it happens in the 27th second. You can see the switch in the menu left and below. Both my pen and my skin are not touching the pad. I hope you have time to see it and if you do, you see what goes wrong Thank you in any case! Best Frederiek!
  6. Maybe this helps (I missed the opportunity to upload this morning) It happens in the 27th second... hope it clarifies! thank you again!
  7. Thank you, Stokerg! and thank you for the suggestion! I have checked this option and it was already enabled. I also tried wearing a glove on the hand in question. That helped with the menu, but the brush/eraser swith kept happening... I can't really pinpoint what causes it... If it is caused by any action of mine it is not one I am aware of... Is there a way to try and reset the program without loosing brushes and such? Maybe I'd have to try to delete it from the ipad and reinstall it again? Thank you again! Frederiek
  8. Good day dear people, Hope you have a creative one! I have a question concerning a rather annoying thing that keeps happening whilst I am working on my IPAD in Affinity Photo... When I work on a Mask with my Brush tool, I switch between black and white to refine it. However, the Brush suddenly switches to the Eraser tool in 2 situations: 1. At the moment when I look at my screen for too long without doing something (I do need time to think occasionally ) 2. When I want to start drawing with the Brush tool and (the side of) my hand touches the screen before the pen does. (which it almost always does) I really do not want this to happen (for various reasons). Do any of you know how to prevent this from happening... Maybe related: When I want to work without the menu and such, the complete menu re-appears upon touching the screen with the side of my drawing hand as well. Well I very much hope to find the answer through you! Thank you very much for your time whether you know the answer or not! Best regards, Frederiek
