  1. So I've been trialling Publisher and Photo for personal use, mostly due to the fact that I'm getting fed up with Adobe's extortionate pricing. I also run an architectural practice and we have often used Illustrator to 'render' our drawings using photo real material representations. Another opportunity has come up to do this on an important project and so we downloaded a trial of Designer, thinking that (as with Photo) we'd not notice a huge amount of difference between it and Illustrator. When I couldn't find a way to import a dwg I turned to the net and here I am ... Why on earth is there no import export of the world's most common CAD format??
