  1. Follow up, I am not sure what I did. but all of a sudden after submitting my files for seventh time... sudden they accept them. Maybe they had a hick up in the system???
  2. Yep, that's the only message. I did searches on their website as well as other places. It just turning into a dry hole of information
  3. The last time (a year ago) I sent files to Ingram Spark they had some annoying error messages, with less information than needed that I eventually worked through. I just tried to submit new files for a new book...But there system now has even less information to work with. All is say is...{An error has occurred retrieving content file validation.) This does not tell me if the problem is the book cover or the inside file. Has anyone run into this issue yet?
  4. Michail, I just got this message when I tried to open what you sent me.
  5. Hi, I have an Indesign book templet from Ingram that I need converted for Affinity. Could someone convert this file for me please. 9781737773313-Perfect.indd
  6. Sorry it took so long to responded back, I've got several deadline infront of me. Thank you it worked, I really did not need to alter it much.
  7. Hi, I am running Publisher on a Mac. What is the best way to compress a PDF magazine down? I am being asked to have each page be no larger that 300KB. I am having a hard time wrapping my mind around that?
  8. So I have a file from Ingram Spark (Book Templet) that is Indesign .indd into Publisher. FYI, I use a Mac Computer. 9781737773306-Perfect.indd
  9. Thank you pbasdf, that was helpful and I did get all of that file fixed, now I have one issue left and its with the cover. My image is 300DPI by it lists the image as 96??
  10. Did some digging on Ingram Sparks website, they recomend the PDF be converted to PDF/X-1a:2001. Thats not someing Affinty Publisher has for an option. Any suggestions out there?
  11. GrayScale does not work either. I would post a photo but it would just look like the last ones I posted. Anyone out there with experance dealing with Ingram Spark?
  12. Dang, I was hoping this would an easy fix. As far as I can tell the only change is the message now shows it in the right color space.
  13. Normally I have been doing Magazines, but now I am venturing into the book world. This book interior is B&W, set on CMYK, but when I upload it to Ingram Spark I get an error (FYI, I also have errors on the cover as well but I would like deal with this first) If read this correctly it is telling me that it is set as RGB not CMYK and that my PDF setting are not correct. Can anyone with more experance tell me what I am looking at???
  14. If it has not been built yet, I was wonding if Raw HTML could be added into a project. An example would be a E-magazine where the customer would like to inclued an E-Weber sign form. Normaly on a website a person would simple plug in the Raw HTML code and be done. Adding this to a project would be an good addition.
  15. Yes, the end product (Breadstone Community) is a online digital magazine on Issuu. So RGB is what everybody is working with.
  16. LOL, I knew it was going to be something like that. A while back I did book cover in CMYK and apparently some of the settings floated over and I never checked it. Thank you very much.
