You are right, this is why the issue is occurring. The keyboard focus is retained on the layer selected in the Layers panel. I am not asking for an alternative solution. I would like to know those technical reasons, because I can't think of any reasons by myself. When I select something and press Delete key, it should delete that. I found myself pressing ⌘Z to no avail, because even for Undo I need to click on the layers panel to change focus and then press ⌘Z, which makes this even more annoying experience.

Hi. When adding a gradient overlay effect on a layer, when I click on gradient that I want to remove, pressing the ⌫ (delete) key on macOS app removes the whole layer from he layer panel instead of the gradient point. This is very annoying because I am accustomed to remove things using the ⌫ key instead of the 'Delete' button you have given in the pop-up of the gradient.

I just zoomed to 100% and you are right. Now that matches the export. So what would you suggest I should do to get the export similar to the preview I shared above? I want that grainy net-like checks-ish surface instead of the smoother one that I am getting.

Actually, I don't know what is Noise. So I have surely not used it. I am a novice user. Please check the .afdesign file I have shared. I did use the 3D Layer Effect and maybe Embossing.

Case in point, the metallic texture of the mic head.

I made a microphone with 3D effect and textures that I am really proud of. Now I want to use it in an animated video. I chose the PNG export with Transparent background. But the resulting image has lost a lot of details. I am using Affinity Designer on macOS.
