Affinity Publisher closing for no reason

I have this problem also. I am using the Mac desktop version. I find the problem to occur when leaving the app for any reason ( clicking on the desktop, going to another app) -
I am also getting the error message "IPC Memory in use or Image size is too big for the system. " I am trying to use the Topaz filter Adjust 5.
