Puuh. After oscillating between the products of Affinity, I found out: - it´s the RECOVERY file that doesn´t open in afpub 2 anymore; but I got a manageable file now. - here it is; the footnote needs to be inserted behind the magenta bar. Alex_END_af2.afpub

I knew so far about the pdf-files. Will that be useful to detect a flaw in an aff pub2 file? It will show me which footnote is missing, but the main problem is, I can´t even open it now in the trial version. Could that be fixed first? That might help me a lot.

Thanks to you all, but this problem occured with the 30-days-trial version. Could there be an unfixed bug? I can´t remember where exactly I wanted to insert the footnote, and now can´t open the document with publ. 1
