Is there any update on this? The solutions with the preview app works of course. But it would be much more convenient if the affinity suite could handle eps files correctly.

Hello everyone, i noticed it at first in publisher that´s why i am writing it here. But actually it happens in all three macOS apps ( i am on Catalina). Since the last update on the V1 suite and also on the new V2 suite i have the problem, that spot colors in some (not all) eps files are changed to 4c when opening them. And also 4c color eps files change their color. 100% black to 50% black for example. All these eps files are linked in an publisher file. They also change when opening them directly in Publisher, Designer or Photo). The apple preview app shows the files correct. That´s why i tried for fun to export the eps from the apple preview app as an pdf and opened that pdf in the affinity apps. And there we go... all colors are correct. I assume all eps files were made in Illustrator since they are from customers and were made before Designer even existed. Has someone noticed the same issue?

Same for me. No changes with the latest update. Edit: Okay i think it has maybe something to do with placed PDF. I had an idea since i have another problem with placed PDF files which i posted here. I made a new 58 page file with placed pictures on every site which have all around 15 MB. Nothing special is happening. Then i did the same with just PDF files. The largest one has 5 MB. Most are around 1MB or even smaller. And the memory usage starts to rise.

Sadly it doesn´t solve this problem for me. But i noticed on every restart of publisher it jumps back to "Bilinear".

Hello there, i have a 54+4 page brochure that i want to export as a grayscale PDF. I have to say that i haven´t had to export an PDF from it since Publisher 1.8 (but then it worked fine). 98% of the placed content are always the same. Just the text has changed of course. Now i get the error "Error at the export in: /Users/..." Just for the "fun" i created a new document and copied every page as a single page in this new document and tried to export it as grayscale... and it worked. Then i created another new document and copied every page in this new document so that i have the 58 pages again. And the export failed again. I have placed many PDF files in this document with different PDF versions. So my suspicion was that publisher has a problem with many placed PDF files with different versions. That´s why i created as my last step a new 58 pages document. And started to place those PDF files new with importing. And as soon as i had placed 6 PDF files i got that error when i tried to export as a grayscale. My operating System is macOS Catalina 10.15.7 and i am using Publisher 1.9.1

Are there any updates on this problem? My only chance on working on my documents is closing it every 10 minutes or so.
