[1.9.1 still crashing]

Thanks for your response. I followed the links on C:\Program Files\Capture One\Capture One 21\WIC\WIC64.  and the change for P1.WIC.NativeComWrapper.dll to the name P1.WIC.NativeComWrapper.old  This type of edit is not something I know hw to do.  I tried to edit  it as suggested using the page inspect function in Win10 and nothing improved. 

How do I make the edit correctly?

[1.9.1 still crashing]

I am using ver 1.9.2.1035. on Win10, Dell XPS Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4790 CPU @ 3.60GHz   3.60 GHz with 32gb ram

I loaded 5 Nikon z6ii raw files into the New Focus Merge Window and then hit OK. 

The application begins processing the photos to the focus merge step through the gray scale images into the final process where the color is rendered, at which the program crashed and closes.  Each file is about 44mb.  

I am loading the files directly into Affinity Photo from my hard-drive.   I am a Capture One user.  I use Capture One to download the files to my drive, but Capture one is not running. 

Any ideas?

[Focus merge problems]

Thanks for your input.  The photos were shot using a tripod.  However, it was a breezy day.

Thanks you for the link you provided. I'll look into what you have provided, for aligning and then focus stacking.  The files I used were Tiff exported from Capture One.

**I was unable to find the tutorial on aligning layers.  Could you please send me the link?  Thank You

BTW: PS CS6 was able to align and stack the three photos. See attached result. 

[Focus merge problems]

Just downloaded the 1.9.2.1035 and did a 3 photo focus merge using tiff files.  The photos didn't along properly as with the prior version.  I assume that the default is auto align? Focus merge interface didn't provide for any way to adjust alignment.

I'm using 1.8.5.703.  I just tried HDR merge with Olympus ORF files and TIFF versions of the ORF files they both  worked!

Gabe: Thank you ,!  Problem solved with the 90day trial!!

[New HDR Crashed]

When creating a HDR image, with two or three Tiff files the software crashes when loading the Tone Map. Auto ghosting is checked.

I signed up for a 90day trial 3 or 4 days ago, but the start up screen tells me I have 9 days left.

If I turn off Tone Map, the HDR process completes.

I tried the panorama stitching and focus stitching  both work well.
