  1. AFphoto will be installed within the windowsApp-Folder automatically. I like to choose a different folder (close to the folder of Version 1), but there is no possibility when the installation is running. How can I manage it in windows 11? Thanks for support Regards Ralf
  2. Hi Timo, there is a tutorial for Adobe PS in Youtube.com slash watch?v=GHmmo-Y7No0 . Just this I intend to do within Affinity photo Best regards Piepsi
  3. Hi, if using photoshop, I can duplicate a single colour channel, duplicate it and work on it (for example with a curve or with dodge and burn). Then I can change this channel into a mask in order to mask a different layer (with the hairs of a person). This mask then influences all calour channels and seperates the hais from the background. I am not successful, if I try the same in Affinity photo by creating a spare channel or a mask layer. The created mask has still the colour information of the former selected channel. The mask is not "black and white" So a tutorial, how hairs can be seperated by using a channel created mask could be very useful. There is no contribution in Youtube. Best regards Piepsi
  4. Thanks for answering. Background of question 1 is: Lightroom is able to show tif-files in the catalog (and not. afphoto-files). My question 1 regards only the use of Affinity photo, no other apps. Are there disadvantages, when working in a tif-file (with affinity photo) handled in several sessions, compared with *.afphoto? Remark: besides the fact, that a tif-file will be bigger
  5. Hi, I am using Lightroom and PSE and wish to replace PSE by Affinity photo. Lr and AP are working together correctly on my PC, when using the tif modus. My questions are: 1. Reduces a tif file any functions within AP, when I reopen an edited file , formerly edited with AP? or is the functionaity the same as afphoto-Files? 2. Is it possible to show *.afphoto files within Lightoom-cataloge (i mean not editing but only show a thumbnail in the cataloge)? Thanks and best regards Ralf
