Thanks, that was the problem. But when i tranform my picture layer into a pixel layer, i lose my mask layer there, right? i want to keep the mask layer.

Hello Guys, i tried to clone some stuff from a masked tree (picture layer). i want to clone the structure of the trunk to some branches. i selected the clone tool, defined the trunk as the source (ALT+Leftclick) and drawed over the branches. nothing happened. in a tutorial video i saw, that when i define the source, i see in the clonebrush this source which i defined. that also doenst happen. what do i make wrong?

Ok i think i know now whats the best solution: The guy in this video shows how to make 3D from a svg file in vectary. So i exported the png i have from the logo as a svg file and wanted to try it. I followed exactly the steps in the video. At the point in the video (0:32) when he clicks on "Geometry", i get the following message and can not do anything there: I mean, my logo hasn't outlines. But the logo he uses doesn't have too, right? How to fix this?

ok, the metallica logo was just an example. when u use the font of metallica its also a text and not a picture. The question was, if there is a tool like the 3D generator for text, which also works for test as pictures (jpg, png). I understood now, that i can draw it by myself. I tried it but i failed whyle trying to move the logo on the z axis. Is there a possibility like the red arrows? (with a picture, not a text/font)

Thanks for the answers. I only bought Affinity Photo, so i dont have Designer. To make this without seeing steps would need a lot of layers. Doenst eat that to many resources?
