I noticed that lots of people use Macros in Affinity Photo. I don't see a Macro Tab anywhere in Affinity Photo. Do I have download them from somewhere?

So I am getting closer. How do I move the Prom Layer below the SPS layer? When I hover over the SPS image there is a circle with a down arrow. Move below SPS layer

I Open in Photo I assuming you are talking Photoshop Here? Use "magic ward / flood selection tool" to select background area. I found the Magic Wand Tool but I don't see flood selection tool when I right click on magic wand? Click refine to smooth/feather edge. Save as selection. I can't find the refine to feather the edge and where do I Save as selection ?

I am attaching both the surface and prominence data (tif files) of the sun. The surface has already been enhanced in PhotoShop to bring out the surface details. The prominence data has not been altered and I stacked the best 500 frames of the video. I did try and use Photshop to combine the images but as you saw, I have a ring around the sun that I would like to try and eliminate. If you get something to work, could you please document what you did in Affinity Photo? I am more of a Photoshop user but I am trying to learn Affinity Photo. TheSunProm.tif TheSunSPS.tif

I was wondering if there is a way to remove the ring from sun? I had two layers one with the surface and the other with the prominences and the gain was turned up. I then merged the two images into one.

I have a very large Star Halo from a very bright star (Altinak) in my astronomy image and I was wondering how to remove the Halso using Affinity Pro. I am very new to using Affiniity Pro so I really don't know where to start. I will provide the URL for the TIFF file if you are willing to help me eliminate the halo. I am basically very happy with everything else. https://www.dropbox.com/s/z95dohtqxxvxzrc/B33.tiff?dl=0

I have a stacked image that I created from a video of Jupiter and Saturn. I am new to Affinity Photo so I have a question. Is there a way to select just one the of planets to work on to adjust contrast and brightness etc? In order to get the Saturn Ring, I had to turn up the gain which means Jupiter got overexposed. I would like to treat each planet seperately and process them independantly of each other? 17_14_50_lapl6_ap414.tif
