Transparent Background in not Transparent

I am having a problem with the transparent background. Since today I was using the trial version of Affinity Designer. Exporting Files (JPG) with a transparent background was not a problem. Today I have purchased Affinity Designer and a big problem occured: if I select the transparent background and export the file, the background is not transparent but white. I have checked if my version was up to date, its 1.8.5. 703. I have tried several times to export a file with an transparent backgound but it still doesnt work. I have also restarted the computer and the program.
