I found a workaround using these excel commands: "copy" and "paste value". I copied the excel tab, and pasted its values in the tab of another file. I then saved the file under a different name. Thank you.

I am running Affinity Publisher 1.8.5.703 on Windows 10. When I attempt File > Place... and select an Excel .xlsx file to place a table on a page, Affinity closes. Is there a resolution? Student Enrollment By Ethnicity Fall 2011.xlsx
