  1. Thanks for this. The only problem with doing this, is I won't be able to have the large size I need. How do I deal with sloppy files like this with Affinity or is there no way.
  2. This is a screen shot. I see lots of layers on this one, but I need to know how to get each of these seamless patterns in a full size like 12x12
  3. Hi all,..quick question. I just subscribed to freepix for graphics for a few of my projects and I've had strange things happening. A few EPs files only had an image and no layers and files like the one I attached, has like 6 different backgrounds but in one file. I'm not sure how I'm supposed to use them individually. Any ideas. I've noticed they list a lot of seamless pattern backgrounds like this. Note, I tried to attach the eps file but it won't let me. Also, if these files were created in AI and they are just not opening up correctly in Affinity, is there a another way I can open them up and do some of the initial editing? I tried Gimp and it was a no go.
  4. Thank you. I was able to mask with the magic wand method. Super easy - thanks I didn't know about the blend mode method. Tried several times and can't get it to work. The rectangle just stays over the image. Not sure what I am doing wrong. I like that method too so I am going to try to figure out how to do properly. As always, thanks for the help
  5. Hi there,..I've stated earlier that I am new to affinity,..I am working on a tshirt and want to recolor different pieces in this file by masking and for some reason it not working. As an example, I want to record the smaller snowflakes to a shade of blue which I was able to do, then I want to add a mask which is a silver background to some of the larger snow flakes. Normally I would group these snowflakes then add the silver image on top and choose mask below, but it's not working. I know I am skipping a step, just can't seem to figure it out. Any quick tips would be great. Thanks
