  1. Try the beta build. Send them an email requesting access to the previous version. Or post a separate support issue here to get visibility and request the same. Never hurts to ask. https://affinity.serif.com/en-us/contact/
  2. No need to be overly-dramatic about it, these things happen in software development. There are thousands and thousands (if not millions) of lines of code written by numerous coders to manage in programs like this. Not exactly likely to be entirely bug-free. Did you try disabling hardware acceleration, as was suggested above? If so, did it help? I haven't had any crashing issues lately in Photo 1.9.2.1035. Seems reverting got things fairly stable again. If disabling hardware acceleration doesn't fix it, just revert to the previous version.
  3. Interesting. That's good to know, I'll try turning off OpenCL and see how it goes. Thanks! Reverting to 1.9.2 was noticeably more stable, though it still hung up on me the last time I was in the program.
  4. Since updating to Affinity Photo 1.10.1, I've been experiencing crashing/freezing virtually every time I open the program. I'm losing work, and it's frustrating to sit and wait, just hoping the program will recover instead of crash. I have no idea what triggers the issue. However, I've been working on some astrophotography test shots, doing some simple stretching with Levels and Curves, as well as using the Recolor adjustment layer to color monochrome data. Files I'm working with are moderately-large, with 3 or 4 TIFF files being brought in to represent different color channels. I've noticed that the freezing tends to happen after I either finish or cancel an adjustment, then attempt to switch documents. But that isn't always the case. Regardless, stability seems to have decreased with recent releases. For now, I'm reverting to 1.9.2 to see if that still has these issues.
  5. Ah! I recall reading that previous, but it just didn't stick in my brain. I got the macros loaded, and then was able to add them to my library from there. Thanks!
  6. I realize this is an old thread by now. However, I tried installing these macros into the latest version of Affinity Photo and it does not recognize them as valid macros. Any chance there are updated versions compatible with v1.8?
