Huh, that's weird. I have downloaded this font from https://fonts.google.com/ And here is how this letter looks when I transform it into curves: Though, "Erase" did work perfectly, thank you so much! P.S. I'm using trial macOS version 1.8.3 I'm on macOS 10.15.5, and here are some detail about the font, that I am using. Could you suggest other place to download this font?

It does not subtract correctly no matter if I select thin/light/medium etcetera. Only this font has such issues with letter "Щ". If I drag shape on to text layer, everything is fine: I cannot change font for this work, so I'll need to work around this bug, but this definitely needs to be fixed.
