  1. Haha! Thanks for that tip. I do get that but, as you say, it's easy to miss on my big screen. Maybe it should be open for longer or made so that you have to close it. After all, it is quite an important bit of information. Many thanks for your help with this. Mike
  2. Hi Alfred. I'm using Publisher and opening a Publisher file. Running Windows 10. There are a number of missing fonts, which I think originated from CorelDraw! I can install them so it's not a problem. They do appear in the list of missing fonts in preflight and in the Character panel but it means I have to check that every time I open a file, just in case. I have seen from other posts that a notification opens up when a file is opened which has missing fonts, but I don't get that so I'm wondering if I've got a setting turned off somewhere.
  3. Hi. I am not getting an automatic notification when fonts are missing when I open a document. Am I missing something in preferences somewhere? Thanks, Mike
  4. Hi Lee. Thanks for looking at this. No, I haven't done anything like rotations etc. The only thing that sort of occurred to me is maybe printer driver or similar. I also wondered if my printer was substituting its own versions of the fonts but I don't think any of our printers have Cooper Black or Verdana installed. Mike.
  5. When I print direct from Publisher, fonts print differently from when I print from a PDF exported from Publisher. The font prints correctly from the PDF. It looks like the text printed directly from Publisher has been kerned and boldened. See file attached. Thanks Font Samples.afpub Font Samples.pdf
