It is not just making a panorama. I have found that if I attempt to open any JPG larger than about 7.92MB or dimensions of 2864 x 3820 Affinity Photo will crash as soon as i select any edit option...sometimes it crashes within seconds of opening. This is true with TIF and DNG files as well. I did find something interesting as i was looking for file sizes. If I open a small JPG file in Affinity first and then open other large any other large JPG, TIF, or NEF (Nikon RAW) at 260MB 8256 x 5504 300dpi 48bit - then Affinity Photo will run and do any type edit and save with no problem - i even had 10 LARGE files open and edited them as well as loaded three NEF files and ran a successful pano stiching with no problems....all running at the same time. BUT if i exit Affinity Photo and try to open any of the large files direct in Affinity Photo...CRASH! But if i open a small jpg first...everything runs well... MAKES NO SENSE TO ME.

Affinity Photo crashes as soon as i try to load a photo. I need some help sorting out why. I am running on latest release of Win10 Pro with 32GB memory on an i7 SSD program drive with 325GB free and Data drive with 1.13TB free. I run Lightroom, Photoshop, and Blackmagic Resolve with NO issues. So cant see why Affinity Photo should be having an issue. Hope someone helps...if im posting in wrong area please let me know...new to Affinity Software. I had high hopes for Affinity Photo

I am a new user of Affinity products (photo, designer, publisher) running on latest version of windows 10 pro. My system has 32GB of memory and running intel i7-5930K. My windows program SSD disk has 346GB of free space and my photo image data disk has 1.13TB of free space. I can start the Affinity Photo program with no problem but when i load 3 photos to stitch together as a new panorama the program loads the photos and shows the resulting pano thumbnail - but when i click the "OK" button the Affinity program just disappears; apparently a total crash! I can start the Affinity program again and it seems to run fine but when i retrace my previous actions to make a pano...load the three photos and then press OK - crash - again. Following the Affinity Photo crash I can then load Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop - complete any type or group of commands and no issues...they run flawlessly but Affinity Photo - nearly any action - sometimes just asking Affinity to load an existing photo crashes the program - no warning - no error messages - the program just disappears. I need some help to resolve this issue. Affinity seams to be a good program but hard to tell at this point...can't do anything.

I have a new install of A Photo. I successfully loaded a photo and later successfully stitched a panorama last week (31 May 2020). Today I tried to stitch another pano. the program imported correctly, displayed the finished photo but every time i press "OK" the program CRASHES - as in the program just disappears and is no longer running. So, i tried to load a photo and, again, CRASH - program just disappears. I need some help resolving this. Lightroom and Photoshop still run fine...but not Affinity Photo. Working on latest release of Windows 10 with 32GB of memory, and 1.3TB free on hard disk and 346GB free on SSD window drive. I see no reason for the crash.
