I've bought Affinity Photo through the Apple store. I found out the troubles I was having with plug-ins was the result of Apple. If I buy Affinity Photo direct not from Apple can I install it and still keep my assets, library, brushes, LUT's that I have collected?
I did contact Apple and I can get a refund because I have not had the program for a year yet, very close to it though. It ticks me off that Apple does it tell you that they did this to the program. I bought the program faithfully through Apple expecting the full program, that is not what I got.
I have sent an email to Affinity about this and have not had a reply as of yet.
If you are trying to use Topaz Di Noise as a plug-in it will not work because of Apple. I also had the same problem with DXO and by the time I got it working they would not honor the sale price that I thought I was getting because it took longer than 30 days to get it running.
