NMF and Walt.Farrell: As for color temperature adjustment - I dislike operating with a lot of equipment (e.g. datacolor or xrite), which I only use 3 to 5 times an then it`s more or less a dead investment. I therefore decided to create param. sets which adjust the Affinity colors to those which are shown in Oly workspace. So far it runs and all of my friends do not wonder about "wrong" colors (see above, I am week in color recognizing). Consequently, I am satisfied with my abobe mentioned formula (I use it in a spreadseet) and as an image has to reflect the original atmosphere of a real situation AND original colors, I don`t want to focus too close to measured temperature colors. But: the different color temperatures of the same picture in my camera, in Oly workspace and in Affinity Photo led me to the above question/proposal in this forum: 1) Why does Oly workspace show a different color temperature compared with the c.-temperature given from the camera (<±100 K, question concerns more or less Olympus and not Affinity)? 2) Why do Affinity and Oly workspace show different c.-temperatures, though the source of information is one and the same (differences of several 100 K, but no systematic deviation can be recognized)? The answers to these questions would help me to understand the kind of color temperature determination in Affinity and to improve my Affinity parameter sets to my camera`s original software (Oly workspace). Hello, I mainly use Affinity Photo (AP) and Olympus Workspace (OW). As I’m week in recognizing colours and my friends tell me that the OW-colors would better fit to the live situation, I tried to calibrate AP to the OW numerical RGB-values. So, I compared the whitebalance values in both programmes (unfortunately they differ from each other) and I found systematic differences between AP and OW in the range of ±300 K over appr. the „natural range“ of colour temperature. As the calibration procedure ist very time consuming, I tried to find a possibility for a numerical adjustment procedure in the AP software to the values I found in the OW (camera producer´s) software – unfortunately without succes. My question / proposal: Pls. support your users suffering from a lack of colour recognition with the introduction of a mathematical formula to automatically adjust the whitebalance to an individually found reference curve. Example: WB_ap = white balace indicated in AP WB_ind = individual white balance K_1 = numerical value K_2 = numerical value Formula which fits sufficiently well: WB_ind = K_1 * WB_ap ^ K_2 As all the remaining steps such as contrast, color saturation ect. can easily be solved using the AP’s integrated macro-recorder, the above proposal would be very helpful a) for people having difficulties in recognizing colours (about 2.5% of the population). b) to save a lot of time to adjust colour teperature of AP to any other software I would be pleased if you could integrate this feature into one of your next versions and would be glad to hearing from you. Hello, I use 3 photo software packages: Affinity, Olympus-Workspace and HDR projects. On opening a grey card photo in RAW-format with these programs, I get the following RGB values: I now wonder which are the "correct" values. My feeling is, that Oly delivers the nearest RGBs compared to the original photo situation. Of great interest are the differences between Affinity and Oly. Can anybody explain the background and how to equalize the RGBs between Affinity and Oly systematically? Thanks in advance and always super photos, Guenter

Hello, after a PC cleanup I tried to update Affinity Photo. Unfortunately after clicking the downloaded Aff.exe-file, there is a 5 sec. time of Win10 rotative cursor and then nothing more happens. Apparently other programs can be uninstalled and installed. "Serif" and "Affinity" appear in the registry. I´m out of ideas now. Can anybody give some support?

Good morning, If I export a TIFF and try to open it in Olympus Workspace, the TIFF is not accessible. TIFFs generated using Helicon Focus or Photoshop Elements run without any problems. Can anybody help? Thanks in advance, GM
