  1. Your tutorial video was perfect. Thank you very much. I'm not very Affinity skilled but I learned some new ones with this. Thanks to everyone who responded.

  3. I'm working on a B&W image and on parts of the foreground subject I'm getting a very small black outline. It's only on a few places. I don't know what the proper name for it might be, but I need to get rid of it. Any help?
  4. Sorry GarryP and Walt. Every time I try to send it i seems it revert right back tp the original image. I think I may not be good enough at Affinity. I'll keep trying.
  5. I'm trying to get the screenshot along with Walt's request for the Layers panel and the Context Tool bar with the Move Toolamd image selected. DSC_6455_300DPI_Move_Tool_and_image_layer.afphoto
  6. GarryP, For some reason, I can't get the resize box to go with the image.
  7. GarryP, I can get to the resize screen like yours, but I haven't been able to get any further. I'm going to try to attach an image but not sure what will show up.
  8. I have series of images to be published in a local publication. When I send them AP says they are 6 x 4 300 DPI. Yet the publisher tells me they come to her looking more like 1 x 2. Which setting do I have wrong?
  9. Hi Lagarto. I just sent off three images about 2 hours ago. Two color and one B&W. We'll see what happens. When I get them back I may have to have another chat with Bay. Experimenting like this could become expensive real quickly. Thanks again.
  10. Hi Lagarto, sorry it's taken this long to get back to you. I got the image to look good and no signs of things being out of gamut using the blend option sliders. Can I assume that the image should resemble my monitor, or am I getting a sort of a false positive? I don't know what the mechanics of the blend options are. This is the first time I've used them.
  11. Hello again Lagarto. I'm in RGBA/8 and sRGBIEC61966-2.1 By destination color profile, do you mean the ICC profile? If so it's Bay Viewing IE103108. If not that I'm sorry I need more info. I think I have just discovered how to correct it using one of the blend option sliders, but I'm not sure that's the proper way.
  12. I'm trying get an image ready to send off for printing, but whenever I do a gamut check in soft proofing, it shows significant areas out of gamut. When I try to fix those areas with HSL or exposure corrections it just ruins the image. The image looks great on my monitor. What can I try to get it corrected? Thanks, Scotty
  13. Your reading my mind. I'm in the midst of typing an email to them right now. Thanks.
  14. It's a very large well known print shop that gets very good reviews. I don't know what kind of equipment they have.
  15. That's a mistake on my part. The original posted image was the correct one, and yes it did have some color balance and HSL adjustments.
