  1. Awesome, I usually install fonts through settings profiles anyway, so I can use them with other apps. Now I can happily update my iPad.
  2. Does this crash only happen when you install fonts through inside the Affinity Apps? What if I install fonts via iOS profile configurations?
  3. Does using the system profiles approach to installing fonts not work?
  4. Will you elaborate further on what you’re trying to achieve? When you say “browse and open from Files”, what files are you trying to open? Are you trying to place images from the Files app onto an Affinity Photo document? If so, simply open the Files app on slide over then drag and drop the file into the Affinity Photo document.
  5. You’re right!! Leaving out Symbols works. This is enough for me to accomplish my task for now. Thanks again!
  6. I’ve tried it on a new document and you’re right - it works. The actual documents I’m working on however, are about 600mb each. Attempting to copy and paste between them causes the app to crash 😟
  7. Thanks, yes I meant Affinity Publisher indeed. Will I be able to view thumbnails of all the pages in Affinity Designer I’m the iPad the way is displayed in Affinity Publisher? (With Master Pages, etc) So that I am able to re-order the sequence of the pages. Currently on Affinity Designer Desktop I seem to be able to only view a single page at a time of an Affinity Publisher file.
  8. … that I can frequently switch between like on a desktop? Gonna frequently need to copy some elements from one doc to another.
  9. Just wondering if the above is possible? I want to be able to work on my AP file on iPad, but it requires me to rearrange my publisher file pages. I am currently manually copy and pasting my AP Pages into manually created AD Artboards for now.
  10. Thanks Callum, I’m currently working on a file on my MacBook with Publisher and the file size came up close to 1GB with images embedded, (200+ art boards). It slowed my MacBook down significantly by this point, using up around 10GB of RAM. Hoping this won’t happen on iPad.

  12. Hi, I’m considering switching over to an iPad Pro to use Affinity Designer with. I currently use inDesign on a MacBook Pro to link over 500 images That are about 15mb each. I eventually export this document - that ends up being over a hundred pages long - into a secured PDF to send out. I’m wondering if 1. The iPad Pro will be able to handle a document this large? 2. Exporting to interactive PDFs (with bookmarks) supported?
