I wrote a review on the App Store, saying Affinity Photo only crashes on my iPad Air. Then I got a refund from Apple, so my review has disappeared. i got a response from a developer asking me to post here so they could address it. Not really my problem now, but I don’t like to ignore people who are well-intentioned. I got one photo developed from RAW, and then nothing ever worked. I tried to develop Canon CR3 compressed RAW files. They’re pretty large, 20MB+. Apple’s Photos app also crashes occasionally, but if I save a cropped version first, it helps. Maybe it needs an iPad Pro or maximum memory.

I managed to develop one photo from RAW—Canon, .CR3—a couple of days ago, but now I only get crashes, usually on whatever I do first after loading a photo. Have deleted & re-installed Affinity Photo, v1.7.3.155 bought this week; closed all other apps; shut down & re-started iPad Air (2018 version purchased last year), running iOS 13.3. Seems to be getting worse. Other apps will process the .CR3 files I’m trying to work on, but they don’t show the histogram as I adjust Brightness & Black Point. I like that feature and would therefore prefer Affinity if it did anything other than crash.
