  1. Hi Gabe, Below you can see screenshots of my performance settings in Photo and Designer respectively. To know which GPU is being used my computer I use the Monitor (also attached screenshot). As you can see, Affinity apps appear as not using high-performance GPUs. I also look at About this mac, where it usually appears on the screen that GPU is being used. And I also take a look at System Report, in the Graphics / Screens section, where the use of GPUs also appears. I have also noticed that with Final Cut, Motion, and iMovie this problem does not exist. Attachment screenshot. If you need more information from me ask me. Any idea what may be happening? A greeting and thank you very much for the help.
  2. Automatic selection of graphics mode fails with macOS Catalina. Hi, I am having some problems with the performance of Affinity Designer and Affinity Photo and I would like to know if this is happening to someone else. My system: MacBook Pro (15-inch, 2017) 2.8 GHz Intel Core i7 4-core 16 GB 2133 MHz LPDDR3 Intel HD Graphics 630 1536 MB + AMD Radeon Pro 555 2Gb One thing that I really like about these computers is the ability to use both GPUs at the same time. Depending on the requirement, macOS sends the process to the low or high performance GPU. And this seems to be something really good for the overall performance of the system. My Affinity applications (Designer and Photo) used the high performance GPU, and it was wonderful. But now with macOS Catalina, Affinity only uses the low-yield GPU, and it shows a lot. I would like to know if someone has noticed a similar behavior, to be able to rule out that it is my computer that has been broken. Thank you.
