I am having the same issue. I deleted my second artboard that had the symbol layers. I am only copying artboard 1 which i think has only normal layers. But every time i try to paste into a new document, AD crashes. The new document has two artboard. I am trying to paste into the first without symbols. The second one has symbol layers. Is there any fix for this? I am trying to copy a repeat tile to check the repeat. Thanks.
