PSD smart objects supported?

jeniberry posted a topic in Pre-V2 Archive of Affinity on Desktop Questions (macOS and Windows)

I haven't purchased Affinity yet, because I'm looking for a program that can handle PSD files, and most importantly smart objects. I only use Photoshop for this and i wish to switch to another program. Could Affinity work for me?
