The orientation is not listed on an iMac. Do you think that if you change something, it would fit? Since Apple probably needs an extra tool for this change, I can probably turn it faster and easier in APublisher

Hallo liebes Forum, ich habe in Publisher ein 1/2 A0 angelegt. Als ich ein Bild dort platziert habe, ist mir aufgefallen, dass es ziemlich klein ist. Laut Publisher Anzeige, ist es aber bei 100% (Foto 1). Das hat mich irgenwie etwas verunsichert! Heute habe ich es mal in inDesign gezogen und dieses sagt mir, dass Bild habe nur 16.7% (Foto 2). Diese Angabe war, was ich erwartet hatte. Hat jemand eine schlüssige Erklärung, weshalb Publisher das Bild in 100% angibt, es aber anscheinend nur 16.7% sind? - Die Prozentanzeige hilft mir persönlich dabei zu wissen, ob das Bild im späteren Druck auf A0 in guter Qualität oder sehr verpixelt gedruckt wird. Mit der Art, wie Publisher die Prozent anzeigt, bin ich ziemlich verunsichert. Hello dear Forum, I have created a 1/2 A0 in Publisher. Does anyone have a conclusive explanation as to why publishers give the image in 100%, but it seems to be only 16.7%? - The percentage display helps me personally to know whether the image will be printed later on A0 in good quality or very pixelated. I'm pretty insecure about the way publishers display the percentage.

Hey Lee D, I've tried something around and it's probably the photos and not publishers (I guess?). I took photos with my iPhone, which are also displayed upright on my iMac. When pulled into Publisher, it always rotates them 90°. I tested it with several pictures. Sometimes it worked, sometimes not. In the end, I was able to solve it by rotating the image 4 times (180°) in Apple Preview and then saving it. Then it worked. (But the Problem is still there.) Picture or Program? I don't know! It only appears in Publisher. Not in Photo and Designer. In Photoshop and inDesign also not.

Das ist auf jeden Fall eine Art Bilder einzufügen, nur das ursprüngliche "Problem" bleibt bestehen. Es sind vergleichsweise viele Klicks nötig um das selbe zu erreichen. Hier wieder der Querverweis zu inDesign, wo man das Bild ja per Drag&Drop fallen lassen kann. Ergebnis = Bild mit individuell anpassbarem Rahmen. This is in any case a way of inserting images, only the original "problem" remains. There are comparatively many clicks necessary to achieve the same. Here again the cross reference to inDesign, where you can drop the image by drag&drop. Result = image with individually adjustable frame.

@Joachim_L Wo wir gerade bei Bildrahmen sind. Hast du diesen Post von mir gelesen? -Vielleicht kannst du mir hierbei (auch) helfen?

@Joachim_L Vielen Dank erstmal für deine fachliche Antwort! Mir geht es tatsächlich primär darum, dass man mehrere Schritte machen muss. Also 1) Rahmen ziehen 2) Bild per Drag&Drop reinziehen. Ich will nicht immer inDesign zitieren aber von der Uni haben wir immer damit gearbeitet. Wenn man nur das Bild reinzieht, gibt es keinen Rahmen sondern das direkte Bild. Ich finde, AFFINITY könnte es so einrichten, dass man direkt ein Bild in einem Rahmen bekommt. Alternativ: Zumindest die Einstellung es als Nutzer entscheiden zu können. Ich denke du bist mehr Profi als ich. Was denkst du von meiner Perspektive? Kennst du das Problem? Stört es dich? (Ich arbeite viel mit Bildern und dieser Umstand stört mich schon arg).

Hello dear Forum, i have a real struggle with the picture frames. After drawing a frame by hand and placing an image in it, Affinity always rotates the image 90° and scales it to frame size. In the upper right corner there are the picture frame properties and you can change this, but it's really annoying that you have to do it again every time. Why doesn't Affinity save the settings for picture frames every next time? Is it a problem with the program or is it my fault? If it's me, I hope someone can help me. Compared to inDesign, it's much more intuitive.

Hallo liebes Forum, ich bin neu hier und finde mich noch nicht sehr gut zurecht. Mit Publisher habe ich ein "Problem". Ich möchte ein Foto via Drap&Drop plazieren, bin es von inDesign aber gewohnt, dass automatisch ein Bildrahmen entsteht. Nicht gewollte Inhalte kann ich durch anpassen des Rahmens dann ausblenden. Bei Publisher muss ich erst einen Bildrahmen einfügen und dort ein Bild ablegen. Das GEHT auch aber vielleicht kann mir ein Profi sagen, wie das automatisch bei Bild ablegen geht. Man spart sich bei vielen Fotos doch viel Zeit! Danke im Vorraus an euch! :)
