I confirmed that my document size is 50 cm long by 30 cm wide. I personally suspect that there is a problem with the software's calculation of the curve, and this problem persists even though I switched to affinity designer 2.

I can't snapping to the curve exactly. The wrong result is displayed while still some distance away from the curve.
